AI is changing the game for writers, for better or worse. I wanted to discuss how AI is currently affecting writers — and how it will affect writers in the future — with author Nick Morine, whose book, Man Versus Machine, explores the intersection of AI and literature similarly to my own book. Despite my jumping to conclusions about the similarity of our books, it turned out to be a case of parallel thinking. I figured I could turn my mistake into an opportunity to pick the brain of someone who’s also intrigued by (and wary of) how AI is transforming the craft of writing. So check out the interview — I hope you enjoy it!
In addition to Man Versus Machine, Morine is also the author of the books Kowloon Walled City, 1984; Punish the Wicked, and others.
